Myer's Monthly Club
Shabbat is the heart and soul of what we do at Chabad House, and the Myer's Monthly Club program provides an easy way for you to show your support. Named in honor of one of the great supporters of Chabad House on Campus, Myer Cohen, OBM, the program involves the donation by participants of a set sum each month. Payments can be made automatically with no hassle to you. You may arrange for online payments or payments by check or credit card. See contact information below. The following are examples of categories for giving the priceless gift of a Shabbat experience to Jewish college students:
$20/mo.—sponsors 2 students for an entire year $50/mo.—sponsors 5 students for a year $250/mo.—sponsors 25 students for a year $1,000—a one-time gift sponsors an entire Shabbat meal |

Welcome BBQ...Rosh Hashana (all FREE)!
Chabad House Email Update: Aug 31, 2010Welcome everyone, we hope the first few days of classes are going great. It was very nice to meet lots of new people so far, and for those of you receiving this email for the first time, welcome to our campus community! We'd love to see you again soon.
Tomorrow is our big Welcome BBQ (info below), Sushi-making for freshmen is Thursday (FREE & right on campus), and this Friday-Saturday is Welcome Shabbat. You are personally invited to check out the Chabad House, meet new people, and enjoy a delicious home-made dinner. If you have plans for dinner, feel free to stop by the Chabad House later in the evening for a special dessert buffet welcoming the new freshmen. Our only rules are: come when you can, leave when you want, and make sure to feel at home while you're here.
Finally, with Rosh Hashana coming up next week, we have two important things to let you know:
1) You are personally invited to join us. All of our meals and services are FREE and open to students, and within walking distance from campus! Friends are invited along too, we want all Jewish students to have a place for the holidays.
2) Please RSVP today on our website (www.chabadpgh.org), full schedule (locations, meal times) is up there too. Even though we welcome last minute RSVP's, your advance notice will help us best prepare.
Have a great rest of the week!
Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi
